- Many modern pharmaceuticals have been modelled on or derived from chemicals found in plants
- Herbal Medicine treats and helps prevent illnesses and infections, as well as improving vitality.
About our Herbal Medicines
The highest of standards
The medicines we sell are licensed by the Government's Veterinary Licensing Authority and are strictly controlled under the terms and conditions set down in the Medicines Act 1968. Tests have been completed throughout the manufacturing process to assure the highest of standards.
- Quality checks on raw materials to comply with British Herbal and European Pharmacopoeia
- Tests to confirm conformity and purity
- Stability testing to ensure medicines retain strength and effectiveness throughout shelf life
Shelf Life
All tablets and capsules have a three-year shelf life from the date of manufacture. You will find the 'best before' or 'expiry' dates on the container as well as details of administration. Once the seal has been broken, the container should be kept closed, airtight and in a dry place below 25°C to ensure the continued quality of the product.
Animal Testing
This range of veterinary products has been proven through their traditional use on companion animals for 50 years. We are pleased to be able to reassure our customers that it is therefore not necessary for the products themselves or any of the traditional ingredients to be subject to any form of unethical animal testing procedures.
